Print Together Time is a Saturday morning screen printing workshop designed for friends of all ages.

Making T-Shirts Together Will Make You Happier

Did you know that studies have found people to be at their happiest when they’re either spending time with someone they care about or doing something creative? We like studies. We also like mashing two good things together into one even better thing (ie. Golden Doodles, Peanut Butter M&M’s, and Beer Cheese). That said, we’re excited to announce PRINT TOGETHER TIME — it’s a super fun way for people to create something awesome with those they care about.

How It Works

Over the course of three hours we take you through the steps to make a one color design and screen print it yourself. The cost of the workshop ($40) covers the production of a one-color graphic onto two t-shirts. If you’re feeling gifty (or there’s more than two of you who want to try it out) additional tees of the same print will be available for $10 per piece. If you want to develop more than one graphic, you’ll need to purchase an additional spot.

When & Where

This workshop will run from 9:00am – 12:00pm on Saturday, April 22, 2017. It will be hosted at WMCAT, which is located at 98 East Fulton, Suite 202. You can find the entrance on the corner of Fulton and Sheldon, just south of Veteran’s Park and the downtown public library location.

On Artwork

Print Together Time is set up to translate hand made drawings into t-shirt graphics. Nothing is needed except a drawing or idea for a t-shirt that could be drawn. If you’re savvy at graphic design and want to develop something on the computer, please email your flattened and outlined one-color Photoshop or Illustrator file to ambrose(at)wmcat(dot)org by the Wednesday prior to your workshop before 5:00pm. This costs an additional $10.
